A Summer of Garden Art Shows
This Summer I enjoyed exhibiting textiles and prints in selected garden art and craft shows which felt like a natural place for me and my work. In early July I was invited to exhibit on the Pure Arts Group stand at Hampton Court Garden Festival which was a vibrant, busy and exciting place to show, alongside some very talented fellow Pure Group artists including Jonathon Hateley’s beautiful sculptures and Louisa Crispin’s exquisite drawings.

Later in the summer I spent two beautiful weekends at Sussex Prairie Gardens near Henfield, West Sussex which is a place I have exhibited, held workshops and had a connection with since 2016. The Handmade Craft Fair was full of a wide range of makers and I met lots of new people and customers. The Botanical Art Fair curated by Diana Jazwinski @mybotanicalheart, and a selected group of 10 artists whose artwork related to botanical forms. I really enjoyed being outdoors at all events, selling originals and prints and cards and meeting and talking to people about my work. I will be planning more garden fairs for next year over the winter months, dreaming of summer days!
